Expectations of Peace Scholars
- Enthusiastic participation
- Being open to learning from your experiences inside and outside of the classroom
- Engaging with global issues, striving to understand the perspectives, and recognizing the humanity of all parties involved in those conflicts
- Being respectful of differing opinions
- Following expectations of Peace Seminar stated in syllabus
Requirements of Peace Scholars
- Must be available for entire program (June 17-August 3)
- Completed assigned blogging during time in Norway
- Successful completion of research project & presentation for peace seminar
- Attendance of all lectures and excursions for the peace seminar
- Complete all course requirements and sit for all examinations in peace seminar and ISS course
- Presentations to at least two venues during the following year
- Complete an evaluation and thank you letter to donors by September 1
- Reply to future requests of academic/professional updates to best of your ability
